“Nike’s marketing messaging was inspired by the graphical interfaces of video games in the late 80s and early 90s, so we also “gamified” the content relating to the benefits of each product.”

The Nike Game Over Pack project was equal parts challenging and just downright fun to work on. Nike’s marketing messaging and web assets were inspired by the graphical interfaces of video games in the late 80s and early 90s, so we also “gamified” the content relating to the benefits of each product. The Mercurial content focused on ending the game with speed, while Phantom content focused on ending the game with precision. 

Although the videos produced were short form in duration, they took a considerable amount of brainstorming, planning, shooting and editing. I pushed the video editor, Jordan Presley, to the supposed limits of his skillset on this project and the results were amazing, exactly what I had envisioned. Such a fun project!
